It is with great responsibility and honour that I assume the role of Ambassador of Georgia to the Republic of Slovenia.

Georgia, like Slovenia, is a small yet remarkably diverse country, blessed with access to the sea and a rich mountainous landscape. It is a nation of ancient and unique culture, combined with a modern and dynamic present. Like Slovenia, Georgia has faced significant challenges in establishing its place on the world map - experience that have shaped the resilience and character of its people.

Georgia offers many unique opportunities and we hope that our Embassy in Ljubljana will help you explore these possibilities and discover the exceptional potential of our country. The Embassy is committed to fostering dialogue, cooperation, and partnership at both governmental and people-to-people levels.

Georgia and Slovenia share strong and meaningful ties. Our relationship is enriched through the promotion of shared values, respect for human rights and vibrant people-to-people exchanges. Georgia and Slovenia are also close partners at the multilateral and international levels.

The Embassy’s activities cover all aspects of diplomatic relations. It represents Georgia’s interests in the fields of politics, economics, finance, law, science, education, tourism, and culture. The Embassy also supports the Georgian community in Slovenia and the growing number of Slovenian visitors to Georgia.

I am deeply grateful for the warm welcome I have received since my arrival in Slovenia and look forward to strengthening our cooperation toward our common goals. I remain committed working closely with our partners to promote our friendly relations and address global challenges together.
