The Embassy of Georgia in the Republic of Slovenia in the city of Koper strengthens cooperation in the municipal, economic and maritime spheres

On May 7, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of Slovenia, Konstantine Surguladze, held a series of meetings in Koper as part of a working visit aimed at strengthening cooperation between Georgia and Slovenia in the municipal, economic, and maritime sectors.

During the meeting with the Mayor of Koper, Aleš Bržan, particular emphasis was placed on strengthening cooperation in the areas of regional partnership, trade, tourism, and culture.

In addition, Konstantine Surguladze held a meeting with Captain Gregor Belič, Member of the Management Board of the Port of Koper. The discussions focused on improving logistical connectivity and facilitating more efficient cargo flows for international trade between the two countries.

The Ambassador also met with Robert Rakar, Director of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Primorska. The parties discussed strengthening economic relations between Georgia and Slovenia, promoting trade cooperation, and identifying new opportunities for business partnerships between the two countries.
